The Jacksonville Jaguars have officially declared wide receiver Mike Brown inactive for Week 12’s matchup with the Houston Texans. Brown only participated in a limited fashion on Friday, as he’s been dealing with a shoulder injury.
Mike Brown out of fantasy commission in Week 12
The Jaguars will start Ace Sanders in place of Mike Brown for Sunday’s game against Houston. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ace Sanders will start in place of Brown. The rookie receiver finished with eight receptions for 61 yards on 10 targets last week after Brown left the game.
Fantasy impact: If you’re looking for a flier in a PPR league, Sanders is certainly worth taking a shot with. He should see plenty of work this week while Cecil Shorts continues to be the focal point of opposing coverages.
The Texans rank No. 1 in the league in pass defense. While that might discourage some owners, keep in mind Brown could easily rack up points in garbage time. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Houston build an early lead and eventually play soft coverage late in the game.
