Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Tim Wright is expected to see an increase in playing time going forward, according to Pat Yasinskas of ESPN. Wright is the only healthy, viable tight end on the roster at this point, now that Tom Crabtree is lost for the season. Tampa Bay now has three tight ends on injured reserve in Crabtree, Luke Stocker and Nate Byham.

Wright is not a strong blocker by any means, but he's converted wide receiver and has been effective this season. Wright has caught 34 passes for 366 yards and two touchdowns in his rookie campaign, and had a strong showing in his last game, a win over the Detroit Lions in Week 12.
In that game, Wright caught eight of the nine passes thrown his way for 75 yards.
Fantasy Impact: Wright should find himself in on most passing situations and he should be the No. 2 pass option on the team behind Vincent Jackson (58 receptions, 888 yards, five touchdowns). Wright is still unproven for the most part, but he could help with a late-season push for desperate fantasy owners dissatisfied with the current production from their tight ends. He's definitely worth a look.
