New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks is expected to participate in team practice on Wednesday, according to Jordan Raanan of NJ.com. Nicks will likely go down as a limited participant, but him even being at practice is significant. Nicks missed Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys due to a lack of practice time stemming from his injuries.
Hakeem Nicks to practice Wednesday, has desirable fantasy matchup against Washington in Week 13
New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks was at practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

It was feared Nicks had a hernia, so he missed practice time leading up to the Dallas game. The Giants ended up losing that game, 24-21, and certainly could have used Nicks’ help.
Nicks was the team's No. 1 receiver, but has quickly faded behind Victor Cruz, who has a hefty contract, while Nicks himself is playing in a contract year. On the season, Nicks has caught 42 passes for 620 yards and has yet to find the end zone, a problem for someone of his skillset and height. Cruz has 851 yards off of 60 receptions, and four touchdowns.
Fantasy Impact: It's good to see Nicks back at practice. Wednesday isn't the most important day of practice, so he should be plenty healthy is he's there. All signs point to him playing and starting against the Washington Redskins. It's a desirable matchup, as the Redskins have the No. 26 pass defense in the NFL. Nicks has seldom taken advantage of these matchups this season, but he's an outside WR3 option this week, regardless.
