Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin returned from a significant hamstring injury in Week 12, and was predictably a non-factor against the New York Giants. Well, he was a non-factor from a fantasy standpoint, though he did catch one important pass on the team's final drive to get them into field goal range.
Fantasy football sit/start, Week 13: Miles Austin
We take a look at whether or not you should start Miles Austin in Week 13.

Austin was targeted three times in that game, and caught just the one pass. He started opposite Dez Bryant and played more snaps than rookie Terrance Williams. It was originally thought that Williams had supplanted the older and more expensive Austin in the starting lineup when the rookie started to have some big games in Austin's absence.
Unfortunately for Williams, he's struggled of late, opening the door for Austin to re-claim his spot. Austin didn't do much against the Giants, but for the time being, he'll continue to get his opportunities to earn his way back, starting with Thursday's game against the Oakland Raiders.
Fantasy Sit/Start: Austin has ultimately disappointed this season, and many are questioning whether or not he’ll be with the team next season. He doesn’t come cheap, and Williams, while raw, has looked better at times. The Raiders have a poor secondary, allowing 258.1 passing yards per game on average, so Austin certainly has a desirable matchup.
But as far as whether or not Austin should have the confidence of fantasy owners, the answer is a resounding “no.” Austin seems far more likely to fall short than to reclaim his past brilliance, so he should be a sit going forward, if not a candidate for release.
