Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice has taken a step back this year, along with the rest of the Ravens. He was drafted in fantasy leagues as a top rusher, but he's been hard pressed to match the production of a change-of-pace back, nevermind competing among the league's elite.
Fantasy football sit/start advice, Week 13: Ray Rice
We take a look at whether or not you should start Ray Rice in Week 13.

The Ravens take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 13, a matchup that typically motivates both teams to play a more inspired brand of football. Don't look for that to change Rice's output too much, though. He's averaging 2.9 yards per carry this season and finished with a disappointing 30 yards against the Bengals in Week 10.
The Steelers rank in the middle of the pack as far as giving up fantasy points to running backs is concerned. Rice managed 72 total yards on 19 touches the last time these two teams played.
Fantasy Sit/Start: Rice has just one touchdown in his last six games. Fantasy owners can’t exactly count on him to score at a high clip, and it’s become quite clear that this year just doesn’t belong to him. He’s more of a flex play consideration these days rather than someone you want to plug into a running back slot on your lineup. It’s OK to hope he rekindles the type of production he’s had in the past, but it probably won’t happen this late in the year.
