Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew hasn't exactly been a staple in the offense this season. He's totaled just 37 catches, 364 yards and two scores on the year. That puts him on pace for 54 catches, 529 yards and three scores. All of those would either set or match his lowest totals since his rookie year back in 2009.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 13: Brandon Pettigrew, Joseph Fauria
Should fantasy owners start Brandon Pettigrew or Joseph Fauria on Thursday?

The Lions have been turning to Joseph Fauria more this season, especially in the red zone. Fauria has six scores, three of which came in one game, and has just 11 receptions.
Fantasy impact: There really is no way any fantasy owner can trust Pettigrew. It makes more sense to pick up and play someone like Ladarius Green, who has been red hot this month. Fantasy owners shouldn't be looking at Fauria either. After all, 11 catches is a pretty ugly total and Calvin Johnson is capable of doing that in one game. Matt Stafford has Nate Burleson back, so the short-yardage plays will be going to him and to Reggie Bush. Owners can cut both tight ends in even two-TE leagues.
