Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson had an unfortunate turkey on Thanksgiving. He recorded just two catches for 14 yards in the Packers' 40-10 loss to the Detroit Lions.
Jordy Nelson shut down by Lions, unable to help fantasy owners
Nelson was victimized by poor quarterback play. We break down the fantasy implications.

Nelson had no chance in this game as Matt Flynn delivered one of the worst quarterback performances you will see all year. It's his lowest catch and yardage totals of the season. Nelson had been doing reasonably well without Aaron Rodgers, but the bottom fell out this week. He's now up to 63 catches, 961 yards and seven touchdowns on the season.
Fantasy impact: It was a lost week for any fantasy owners who started Packers players, but Nelson will have better days ahead. Rodgers is expected to come back in Week 14 and the Packers have an appealing matchup against the Falcons' defense. He should get back on the WR2 radar and will be a quality play for the fantasy playoffs. Don't panic.
