Green Bay Packers wide receiver James Jones was a lone bright spot in a miserable Thanksgiving game by Green Bay. Jones recorded three catches for 79 yards in a 40-10 loss to the Detroit Lions.
James Jones salvages fantasy day in Thanksgiving blowout loss
James Jones was one of the few Packers players to put up a good stat line. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jones managed to salvage his day with a 56-yard catch in the second half, but it was otherwise a forgettable game for the Packers, who fall to 5-6-1 and are slipping in the playoff race. Matt Flynn was atrocious, throwing for just 139 yards and taking seven sacks. Jones now has 37 catches for 624 yards and two touchdowns on the season.
Fantasy impact: The Packers' offense is completely listless without Aaron Rodgers, but Jones somehow made the most of it this week. Things should get better with Rodgers expected to return in Week 14. Jones remains on the WR3 map and has an appealing matchup with the Falcons' defense next week. Fantasy owners can continue starting him with confidence for the playoffs.
