Santonio Holmes misses practice, questionable for Jets, fantasy owners
New York Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes missed practice on Friday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Holmes injured the hamstring on Sept. 29 against the Tennessee Titans and missed the next five games, but played in the team's last two outings. He's suffered some kind of setback, however, and did not practice on Thursday, either. It sounds like Holmes won't be able to play at this point.
Of course, Holmes hasn’t been very good this season either way. He’s caught 13 passes for 326 yards and a touchdown, but has only managed to play in six games this year.
Fantasy Impact: Holmes is an unreliable option in fantasy football, even if he’s like to have a big game here or there. If you were planning on having him available against the Dolphins, it’s probably best to look elsewhere, and probably best to find another receiver in general at this point. Even if he plays, trying to play through a hamstring injury is incredibly difficult. Smart money is on Holmes being inactive.
