Adrian Peterson was the focus for the Washington Redskins’ defense on Thursday night. The veteran running back rushed for 75 yards on 20 carries, scoring two touchdowns along the way to bring his season total up to 10. He also caught two passes for two yards.

Peterson grinded out much of his yardage against a defense that continuously stacked the box, but he still added in several highlight reel runs. Analyst Mike Mayock complimented a 2-yard carry from AP for the amount of effort he gave and time it took tor bring the workhorse down.
Fantasy impact: AP is always the focal point for opposing defenses, but when he manages two touchdowns, owners quickly forget about the somewhat low yardage total. He’s averaging more than 87 yards per game through nine outings.
The Seattle Seahawks are up next for the Minnesota Vikings. Peterson can easily exploit the 19th-ranked defense in the league. He’s always locked in as the top running back each week, and next weekend should be a big game for AP.
