Not much was expected out of Mike Glennon when Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano named him the starter over Josh Freeman, but he's been on a nice hot streak lately. The Bucs have won three games in a row thanks partly to the third-round rookie. He continued his streak against the Detroit Lions in Week 12, completing 14-of-21 passes for 247 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 13: Mike Glennon a tough sell vs. Panthers defense
The rookie has been performing well in recent weeks, but fantasy owners shouldn’t jump the gun on starting him against Carolina’s defense.

On the season, Glennon has completed 62.5 of his passes for 1,782 yards, 13 touchdowns and just four interceptions. He'll look to keep things rolling when the Bucs travel to Carolina to take on the Panthers in Week 13.
Fantasy impact: Glennon has been a quality QB2 in recent weeks, but it's hard to recommend him against the Panthers' ferocious defense, especially if your league starts the playoffs this week. Things won't get any easier when the Bucs face the Bills, 49ers and Rams over the next three weeks. Glennon is an intriguing talent and worth a stash in dynasty leagues, but he's just a desperation play in deeper leagues for now.
