New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks has had an underwhelming 2013 fantasy campaign. He has 42 catches for 620 yards, but the usual end zone threat hasn't caught a single touchdown this year. Nicks has topped the 100-yard receiving mark twice, the last of which came back in Week 5.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 13: Hakeem Nicks set to return, value still limited
Nicks was held out of last week’s game but practiced and will play in Week 13. Is he worth the fantasy start?

There has been speculation that the upcoming free agent already has one foot out the Giants' door and is just trying to stay healthy. Whatever the reason may be, it's clear that Nicks hasn't been himself. He has struggled to gain separation all year and has been outplayed by second-year man Rueben Randle by most accounts.
Fantasy Impact: Nicks is fully expected to return on Sunday night against a Washington Redskins defense that has struggled to make plays all year. Although matchup don't get much better than this, Nicks has given fantasy owners little reason to have faith in him in starting lineups. Until he proves that he still has his big play ability, Nicks will continue to be a bottom-of-the-barrel WR3 option.
