The Washington Redskins will start Kirk Cousins at the quarterback position against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, according to ESPN's John Keim. Cousins replaces Robert Griffin III, who has only been benched to protect him from injury over the team's final three games.
Kirk Cousins to start for Robert Griffin III, but is there any fantasy value?
Kirk Cousins will start in place of Robert Griffin III. We break down the fantasy implications.

Washington is well out of the playoff race, and Griffin has taken 24 sacks in the past five games. He already lost his first full offseason thanks to injuries and rehab. The Redskins would like Griffin to be able to take a a full workload this offseason, to try and improve and perhaps have a much better go at things next year.
Cousins played in three games last season, two of which were wins for the Redskins. The first was the game against the Baltimore Ravens in which Griffin sustained an injury, and the second was the next week against the Cleveland Browns.
Fantasy Impact: If you’re still reading this, then you’re still playing meaningful fantasy football. So why are you interested as to whether or not someone like Cousins can be effective? Last season, he finished with 466 yards on 33 completed passes for four touchdowns and three interceptions. He is nothing but a boom-or-bust candidate at this point. Bust sounds more likely.
