Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed sat out the team's practice Wednesday, according to the Washington Times. The tight end has missed the team's last three games with a concussion, and it's definitely looking like he could miss more.
Jordan Reed sits out practice; fantasy value minimal
The Redskins tight end has missed three straight games with a concussion. We break down the fantasy implications.

In nine games this season, Reed has 499 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 45 catches. He had a hundred-yard game in Week 7 against the Chicago Bears, and averaged 11 fantasy points a game in Weeks 7-10. With Reed out, backup Logan Paulsen has been productive the last two weeks, with three catches for 40-some yards, and a touchdown in each game.
Fantasy impact: The concussion has had Reed as a “maybe” active heading into each of the last three weekends, but at this point, it’s pretty clear the concussion is a doozy that isn’t going anywhere. It sucks in fantasy, but it sucks even more for the real world, for Reed, as he has to just be wondering when he’ll be okay again.
Fantasy owners can hold on to Reed if they have a spare roster spot, but no one should be relying on him until he definitively gets back on the field. As long as Reed is out, Paulsen is an acceptable desperation play, but he doesn’t have nearly the upside Reed has.
