Ryan Mathews posted his highest rushing total of the season, so Rivers didn’t have to do much. He only attempted 20 passes in 39 minutes of possession. The Chargers’ ultimate goal was to keep Peyton Manning off the field.
Fantasy impact: Owners would like to see more yards, but two touchdowns at least helps salvage the night. San Diego executed its gameplan perfectly by limiting the Broncos to 21 minutes of possession on offense.
