Fantasy football projections, Week 17: Bills vs. Patriots featuring Thad Lewis, Tom Brady and Julian Edelman
We break down the Week 17 matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots.

Buffalo Bills
Quarterback E.J. Manuel has been ruled out due to a knee injury. That means Thad Lewis will start against the Patriots this week. It'll be Lewis' fifth start of the year. He played well at times earlier this season and may give the Bills the best chance to win. However, Lewis is not exactly a proven commodity and isn't steady enough to be a fantasy option at this point in his career.
In terms of their running game, the Bills will finish the season just the way it began, with Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller splitting carries. Jackson had the upper hand between the two in terms of fantasy value in 2013. He's scored more touchdowns and is a more reliable pass catcher than Spiller.
New England Patriots
For those in PPR leagues, Julian Edelman is a guy worth starting this week against the Bills. He has 20 catches for over 200 yards and a touchdown in the team's last two games and is clearly the top target on the squad with tight end Rob Gronkowski (torn ACL) done for the year.
Of course Edelman will be catching his passes from quarterback Tom Brady. The Patriots are still positioning themselves for the playoffs so it won't be a day off for Brady. He'll be throwing the rock often against the Bills secondary and should be in top form to finish the regular season.
