New York Giants Rueben Randle will start on Sunday versus the Washington Redskins.
Rueben Randle active for Giants, makes boom-or-bust play for fantasy owners
Despite practicing just once during the week, Rueben Randle will get the nod in the Giants’ season finale. We break down the fantasy implications.

Randle dealt with a knee injury during practice this week and got just one session in as a result. But the Giants have needed their depth at receiver with Victor Cruz out and Hakeem Nicks' underwhelming play, and Randle will give the Giants a much-needed start at the position.
Fantasy Spin: Even versus a horrendous Redskins defense, Randle does not make for an inspiring start for fantasy owners in a meaningless Week 17 matchup. Jerrel Jernigan has been the biggest beneficiary of Cruz's absence, leading the Giants with 20 targets since their former Pro Bowl receiver left Week 15's game versus the Seattle Seahawks due to a concussion. As a result, Jernigan makes for an attractive WR3 play with upside.
As for Randle, it would be difficult for fantasy owners to trust him this week after posting just 40 receiving yards a week ago without Cruz in the lineup. With a better matchup this week, a touchdown is not out of the question, but Randle remains boom or bust.
