Fantasy football projections, Week 14: Cowboys vs. Bears featuring Dez Bryant, Tony Romo and Matt Forte

The Week 14 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears. We've got all the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberFire.

It's a good thing Dez Bryant was able to find the end zone against the Oakland Raiders last week. Prior to that, he had gone three straight contests without scoring. The good news going into this week against the Bears is that Chicago is no longer the defensive powerhouse they used to be. Bryant should be able to capitalize and put together some nice fantasy stats this week as a result.

Hopefully the same can be said for quarterback Tony Romo. He's led the Cowboys to wins in three of their last four games. He typically struggles in November and that's been well documented. It shows when you consider he hasn't thrown more than two touchdowns in a game since the last week of October. This week could prove to be high scoring, so fantasy owners should go ahead and start Romo as the playoffs get under way.

Quarterback Jay Cutler (ankle) practiced on Friday but he's already been ruled out against the Cowboys. He's probably going to make his return in Week 15, but that means Josh McCown is still fantasy relevant for now. McCown scorched a porous Minnesota Vikings secondary last week for 355 yards. The Cowboys secondary is much better than that of the Vikings though, so McCown will have to be accurate and timely to repeat any of the success he had last week.

When he's not tossing the ball down the field, McCown will hand it off to running back Matt Forte. Forte rushed the ball 23 times for 120 yards last week. He's versatile so even if the Cowboys clog up the middle, he'll be able to catch some passes in the backfield and still make an impact in Week 14. Fantasy owners should start him this week, particularly in deeper leagues.
