New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith had a big game in Sunday's 37-27 win over the Oakland Raiders. He finished with 219 passing yards, one passing score and one interception on 16-of-25 passing. Those numbers have him a respectable 88.6 passer rating.
Geno Smith actually produces a fantasy line on Sunday
Someone either stole Geno Smith’s uniform or Geno snapped out of a terrible funk on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

The rookie quarterback was also effective on the ground with 50 rushing yards on five carries.
The Jets getting back receiver Jeremy Kerley went a long way with Kerley catching four balls for 41 yards and a score. They also had Santonio Holmes healthy and this was really the first time the Jets had their passing attack at full strength.
He has been the worst quarterback in the NFL to this point, despite making some plays here and there. Before this game, Smith had the lowest passer rating in the NFL at 60 thanks to a slew of careless turnovers and a weak completion percentage.
Fantasy impact: There is really no fantasy spin here. Smith is just too inconsistent to roll out there in just about any fantasy league. Guys like Matt Cassel are a better option.
