Chris Ivory returns to practice and takes reps with starters; may have fantasy value
New York Jets running back Chris Ivory returned to practice and took snaps with the starters. We break down the fantasy implications.

This is big news, given that Ivory is competing with Mike Goodson (or perhaps he's not, as nobody quite knows where Goodson stands with the organization) for the lion's share of the carries and the starting job this season. Monday's practice was Ivory's debut with the Jets, thanks to a hamstring injury that has kept him sidelined throughout the first couple weeks of camp.
Joe McKnight was injured during Monday's camp, as well, which makes Ivory's debut and successful practice all the more important.
Fantasy Impact: Ivory isn’t one of those top-flight backs you should be looking at in the first round, but if he continues to progress following his return from injury, he should have the starting job in-hand. Given the quarterback situation in New York, the team will do everything they can to facilitate success for Ivory, making him a possibly attractive option as a backup for your bye weeks.
