Houston Texans running back Arian Foster is still on the physically unable to perform list, but head coach Gary Kubiak says Foster's calf is "fine," according to the Houston Chronicle. Foster has missed all of training camp dealing with calf and back issues, but it looks like he's just dealing with the back issues at this point.
Arian Foster’s calf is ‘fine’; fantasy owners wait on back injury update
Arian Foster’s calf is ‘fine’ and now the Houston Texans are waiting on his back to loosen up. We break down the fantasy implications.

Kubiak described Foster’s injury as “tightness in his back.” It’s unclear when Foster will come off the PUP list, but the team continues to talk about the move as though it will happen soon. Foster has been one of the most productive running backs in the league over the past couple years, and the Texans definitely need his help if they hope to be right back in the playoff hunt.
Last season, Foster had 1,424 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Fantasy Impact: Foster isn't the go-to top pick for most fantasy owners -- that's Adrian Peterson. But Foster has been essentially the consolation prize for not winning out on the Peterson sweepstakes. He's been drafted high despite his injury concerns and his lack of practice, and given that nobody else has been dissuaded to this point, the news that Foster seems to be getting better can only be positive for fantasy owners.
