Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris has improved in many key areas this offseason, including his pass protection, pass receiving and breakaway speed, according to the official website. Morris took the NFL by storm last season, putting up 1,613 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Alfred Morris working on receiving ability; fantasy value high
Alfred Morris has been working on his receiving ability this offseason. We break down the fantasy implications.

But the biggest complaint about him: he only had 11 receptions last season, for just 77 yards and no touchdowns. Mike Shanahan likes his running backs to be able to catch the ball, and that has been a point of focus for Morris this offseason. He’s been working on his hands, and if that improves, it could open up a whole new dynamic for the Washington offense.
Fantasy Impact: Morris was more than effective as a rookie and has been a high pick by fantasy owners because of this. That said, many are wary that he will hit a wall in his sophomore season and want to see more before they crown him as a must-have option in the first round. Improving all of the areas outlined above can only keep him on the field for longer and improve his production, however. He is probably a solid option going forward.
