Eddie Lacy will "get most of the carries" for the Green Bay Packers, according to Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel. Lacy is listed as a "lock" to make the roster, and McGinn says Lacy is likely the running back of the future.
Eddie Lacy will get ‘most’ of the carries, Johnathan Franklin hasn’t shown ‘wow factor’
Eddie Lacy will get “most of the carries,” and Johnathan Franklin hasn’t shown any “wow factor” for the Packers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Lacy, a rookie, is competing with the likes of James Starks, Alex Green, DuJuan Harris and fellow rookie Johnathan Franklin. Most figured Lacy and Franklin would take off with the position, but McGinn says that Franklin hasn't shown any "wow factor" as of yet in training camp or the preseason.
Harris has been listed as the starter and should get a solid opportunity to compete once he’s healthy, but for now, Lacy looks to be in the lead.
Fantasy Impact: The Packers have been searching for a starting running back for awhile. Lacy was to compete primarily with Franklin, but if McGinn is correct, then Lacy will be the way to go in fantasy. It’s likely that the Packers will have one or possibly even two productive fantasy football running backs, but at this point, it wouldn’t be smart to make any of them a top pick, but Lacy might be attractive later on.
