The Philadelphia Eagles are turning things up on offense under new head coach Chip Kelly. According to Paul Domowitch of Philly.com, the Eagles are running an average of 75 offensive plays per game, more than any other team in the league. That is over the course of three preseason games, in which they've run 225 offensive plays.

Andy Reid was known for having a solid offense, but it was pass heavy and prone to stalls due to that fact. Kelly ran a breakneck offense with Oregon and as noted by Rotoworld, Kelly ran an average of 82.8 offensive plays per game at Oregon. Last season, the NFL average was 64.2 plays per game, so if the Eagles were to keep this up, they’d certainly be among the top.
Michael Vick is the primary beneficiary of the new offense. He looks comfortable under center in Kelly's scheme and will be given more opportunities to run the ball, which he wants to do. He has 456 yards and two touchdowns in three preseason games, and will sit out the fourth as he prepares for Week 1 of the regular season.
Fantasy Impact: While you should stay away from the Philadelphia defense, there are multiple players on offense worth checking out. Vick is an obvious choice, and then there's receiver DeSean Jackson and running back LeSean McCoy. The Eagles will be one of those team that gets in shootouts more often than naught and fantasy owners should keep the above stats in mind.
