St. Louis Rams wide receiver Chris Givens could get more looks than rookie Tavon Austin this season, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, as noted by Rotoworld. Austin was selected in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft and is clearly the future at the wide receiver position for the Rams (or at least they hope he is). That said, he may be a little raw at this point.
Chris Givens to get more looks than Tavon Austin this season?
Could Chris Givens get more targets than Tavon Austin this season? We break down the fantasy implications.

Austin didn’t run NFL routes in college and is still adapting to a pro style offense. The Rams haven’t had anything approaching good production from the wide receiver position in some time, so a lot of hope is riding on Austin. That said, Givens looked good in his rookie season, catching 42 passes for 698 yards and three touchdowns.
Fantasy Impact: Of course, this is one writer's opinion and all, but if that's the way it's looking for the Rams, then fantasy owners who are banking on Austin's boom potential may be out of luck. It's clear he'll see the field a lot this season, but whether or not Sam Bradford and the coaching staff have enough trust in him is up for debate. Austin probably shouldn't be depended on at this point.
