Sidney Rice expected to be ready for Week 1 and produce for fantasy owners
Sidney Rice is expected to be ready for the opener after sitting out the entire preseason. We break down the fantasy implications.

His offseason included platelet-rich plasma treatment and it's not a serious concern. Rice has battled injuries for much of his career, but played in 16 games in his second year with the Seahawks last season. In that campaign, he totaled 50 catches for 748 yards and seven scores.
Fantasy impact: Rice could be in for a nice year with Percy Harvin very likely to start the year on the PUP list. He's never been much of a possession receiver, so he's not really a player you'll want to target in PPR leagues. He and Golden Tate should have plenty of targets from Russell Wilson. The Seahawks are still a running team that is built on defense, so they won't be getting into too many shootouts. Rice should be viewed more as a WR3 in standard leagues and WR4 in PPR.
