Atlanta Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff said he's "hoping" Roddy White (ankle) will be ready for Week 1 against the Saints.
Roddy White hopeful for opener, fantasy value alone takes minor hit
The Falcons are hopeful that Roddy White is going to suit up for the Week 1 opener. We break down the fantasy implications.

He is one of the most durable players in the NFL, playing in every game since he was drafted in the 2005. White sprained his ankle in the second preseason game, so he’ll have about three weeks to get it right.
Fantasy impact: There’s little reason to be concerned with White’s ankle and his overall health. There haven’t been any reports of him having any structural issues, either. White’s targets could figure to take a hit this year with the team adding Steven Jackson. The 31-year-old receiver was still 10th in the league in receptions last year while totaling 1,351 yards and seven scores. He’s more of a WR2 these days than his usual WR1 status, but he’s a just about as safe as it gets.
