Some teams have quarterback problems and it can come in many forms. The Jets and Eagles couldn't be more different in how things are playing out. Nick Foles was edged out my Michael Vick for the starting job in Philly. Both QBs are having strong preseasons, but Vick has been one of the better players in the NFL this month. He had a 158.3 passer rating in Week 1 and he is doing an outstanding job of getting the ball to his receivers. Foles has been productive, as well, and he's been in great control of the offense.

The Jets and Eagles have a lot of controversy for different reasons. We break down the storylines of Week 4’s matchups and the fantasy implications.

As for the Jets, they aren't exactly in the best position for their quarterback spot. It's been an ugly August. The Jets keep turning the ball over and they haven't been efficient on offense either. Geno Smith actually won't even dress for the game and Mark Sanchez has an injury to his throwing shoulder, making him questionable for Week 1 of the regular season. You're obviously not going to target either of these guys, so let's look at the players you might be looking to pick up:
Is Chris Ivory going to be able to separate himself from Bilal Powell? The Jets aren't going to have Mike Goodson for the first four games due to a suspension, so it's going to Ivory and Powell getting the work. Powell is still ahead on the depth chart and the Jets have run a lot of wildcat plays for him. Still, Powell wasn't too impressive with the Jets and he hasn't done much to show he's made any sort of leap based on his preseason performances. It's really caused Ivory to slide in drafts. It’s come to a point where he’s a bit of a value later in drafts, but he’s still not going to be someone you’re going to want to have as a flex or RB2. In Week 4 of the preseason, there usually aren’t many things worth monitoring, but this one is right at the top of the list.
Is there anyone worth drafting in the Jets' receiving corps? Well, no. The Jets have nothing as far as skill players go and their lack of a quarterback severely limits any upside for any player. If you're in a very deep league, Jeremy Kerley is probably the guy to target before Santonio Holmes comes back. Still, this is 16-team territory. Jeff Cumberland is someone to think about in two-TE leagues.
Is Chris Polk gaining ground on Bryce Brown for the RB2 job? This has come up due to Brown's fumbling concerns. If Brown coughs it up again, it's not too far-fetched to think that Polk can leapfrog him. What's more, if LeSean McCoy misses time, there's a good chance that it will be a timeshare. Brown excelled in the role as the featured back last year, so he's being slight overdrafted based on last year's stats. He's going before Bernard Pierce in drafts and that simply shouldn't be the case.
The Eagles are going to run a ton, so Polk is a decent flier at the end of a 14-team draft.
