Seattle Seahawks running backs Robert Turbin and Christine Michael could be in a "fierce competition" to decide who gets more carries this year, according to Danny O'Neil of ESPN 710.
Robert Turbin, Christine Michael battling for fantasy handcuff value
The Seahawks are still trying to decide their primary backup running back between Robert Turbin and rookie Christine Michael. We break down the fantasy implications.

Michael, a second-round pick out of Texas A&M, rushed 27 times for 186 yards and one touchdown in the preseason, including an impressive 43-yard touchdown run against the Packers last week. Meanwhile, Turbin has looked "a little less explosive" and failed to pick up a blitz, resulting in a Clay Matthews sack. Turbin also missed half of training camp with a foot injury.
Fantasy impact: The Seahawks haven't decided who the main backup to Marshawn Lynch will be, but Michael could end this competition with another solid performance on Thursday. The rookie is talented enough to play in Week 1 and could step in seamlessly if Lynch goes down. Michael is the favorite to have more fantasy value than Turbin and is worth drafting as Lynch's handcuff.
