The San Francisco 49ers had a pair of decent fantasy options at the wide receiver position in Michael Crabtree and Anquan Boldin. With Crabtree getting injured for a good portion of the regular season, they pretty much became a team to avoid in that vein, but after finally getting in and seeing some action in the preseason, a sleeper might be emerging: rookie Quinton Patton.
Quinton Patton has another good game for 49ers, could be fantasy sleeper
Quinton Patton caught another touchdown and had another good game for the 49ers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Patton injured his hand in training camp and couldn't partake in the first two preseason games, but he did remain in practice running his routes and everything -- he just couldn't catch a ball. So he was something of an unknown commodity. Against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 3 of the preseason, he led the 49ers with four receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown, with a long of 19 yards.
Against the San Diego Chargers on Thursday, he looked even better, catching two passes for 52 yards and a touchdown, including a 43-yard catch-and-run. The best thing about Patton's two touchdowns: they came early in both games and they were thrown by starting quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
Fantasy Impact: Patton has clearly caught on to San Francisco’s playbook quicker than expected, and he’s obviously a target that Colin Kaepernick likes. He’s obviously not a player who should be your first option in fantasy football, but he fits the definition of “sleeper” pretty well. Might be worth a late look for fantasy owners.
