Second-year running back Isaiah Pead is back from serving a one-game suspension, and one reporter believes he could be heavily involved in the Rams offense in Week 2. We break down the fantasy implications.

Daryl Richardson is the starting running back for the Rams, and took all of the first-team snaps this summer in addition to having 26 touches in Week 1. Pead missed the game while serving a one-game suspension, but will suit up against the Falcons this week.
Richardson sat out Wednesday’s practice due to a minor foot injury, but returned at full capacity. Despite his return, Thomas believes it’s possible for Richardson to be limited.
Fantasy Spin: Pead, who was drafted 50th overall by the Rams in 2012, has had every chance to earn the starting running back job vacated by Steven Jackson, but lost the job to Richardson early on in the summer. Due to his suspension and unimpressive showing in Rams camp thus far, Pead has done little to stake his claim on the job, and will remain behind Richardson in the pecking order for the foreseeable future. Richardson will be a full-go against the Falcons and is a decent flex play, while Pead is worth stashing in deep leagues only.
