Brown was plugged into the starting lineup after Jacoby Jones suffered a knee injury in the team's season opener. The big-framed receiver had a nice matchup versus the Browns Buster Skrine and Chris Owens in coverage, and capitalized for a touchdown in the second half.
Fantasy Spin: That’s now two touchdowns in as many weeks for the undrafted rookie out of Georgia. Brown had some deep-sleeper potential this week with the favorable matchup, and despite being modestly targeted, he was able to cash-in for savvy fantasy owners with a touchdown grab. His day could have been even bigger, however, after a would-be touchdown reception dropped out of his grasp in the first quarter. Going forward, Brown should have marginal value as a plug-and-play WR4 option as long as Jones remains out of the Ravens lineup.
