Greg Olsen appeases fantasy owners with 84 yards and a touchdown
The Panthers pass-catching tight end reeled in a season-high 84 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Bills on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

The only receiving category Olsen did not lead the team in was targets, which was topped only by Steve Smith with 11. Olsen made the most of his opportunities, catching all but one of the eight passes that came toward his direction. So far, the Panthers have had a conservative approach on offense, and Olsen has been the biggest beneficiary as a result.
Fantasy Spin: That's the first touchdown that Olsen has cashed-in on this season, and the talented tight end has proven himself to be a go-to guy in the offense even with the presence of Smith on the outside of him. That production should continue next week, as the New York Giants have had nightmares containing tight ends this season. Don't expect the same output from Jason Witten in Week One, but the six catches for 47 yards and a touchdown that Julius Thomas posted on them ought to be in line with what to expect from Olsen a week from now. Continue to start with confidence.
