Lions running back Reggie Bush will sit out Sunday's game against the Redskins, according to a report by ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Reggie Bush will sit out vs. Redskins, Joique Bell becomes high-upside fantasy start
Despite practicing through a knee injury sustained in Week 2, Reggie Bush will sit out against the Redskins this week and will be replaced in the lineup by Joique Bell. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bush returned to Lions practice on Friday, impressing onlookers with his progress despite having to sit out on Wednesday and Thursday. However, with Bush’s long-term health as the team’s greater concern, a week of rest is in order for the team’s No. 1 running back.
Fantasy Spin: It's not what Bush's owners wanted to hear before a juicy matchup against the Redskins, who have allowed 1,023 yards from scrimmage over the first two games. With 184 rushing yards allowed to LeSean McCoy and 132 to James Starks in that span, it would have likely been another big day for Bush in Week 3.
If Bush was at or near full-health, he would be penned-in as an RB1. Joique Bell will presumably start Sunday, and immediately garners RB2 consideration with RB1 upside facing what has been a porous defense up to this point.
