Trent Richardson expected to get 10-15 touches, is a risky fantasy play in his Colts debut

Newly acquired running back Trent Richardson is expected to get "10-15 touches" in his debut with the Colts on Sunday, according to ESPN's Ed Werder.

Richardson was traded from the Browns to the Colts in exchange for a first-round pick on Wednesday, and the Colts will give their new backfield weapon a chance to see how much of the playbook he's absorbed in just two days of practice.

Fantasy Spin: If Richardson would carry the ball 15 times, that would be on par with a full workload in the Colts backfield. Ahmad Bradshaw led the team with 15 carries in Week Two, and Vick Ballard led the team with 13 in Week One. Of course, with the Colts struggling to run the ball in general, it can be assumed that once Richardson is up to speed that they envision him to be able to carry the ball more than his predecessors. That reigns especially true, given the price the Colts paid to get him.

Richardson has a difficult matchup this week versus the 49ers, and because he will be on a pitch count and with a new team at that, he will be a risky flex play in his Colts debut.
