The Redskins’ signal-caller racked-up 326 passing yards and a season-high 37 rushing yards in the team’s 27-20 defeat to the Lions. We break down the fantasy implications.

Griffin once again showed signs of rust throughout the game as he continues his comeback from a torn ACL sustained in January. However, Griffin also displayed flashes of the player that electrified the league as season ago. Offensive Coordinator Kyle Shanahan called plays that routinely got Griffin out of the pocket, and the second-year quarterback appeared more mobile and found his receivers with more regularity than in past weeks.
Fantasy Spin: Though it was Griffin's worst fantasy performance this season, it may have been his best "real" performance despite that. Griffin's fantasy total could have been much higher, as an originally ruled touchdown was called back when replay showed that wide receiver Aldrick Robinson did not maintain possession. Griffin also lost a fumble at the end of a 21-yard run that would have put the Redskins in the Lions' red zone.
Though lots of fantasy points were left on the field by Griffin in Week 3, there were enough encouraging signs to suggest that won't be the case next week versus the Raiders. Start Griffin with confidence once again.
