Green Bay Packers running back James Starks suffered a knee injury right before halftime in the Week 3 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Starks was having a fairly productive day before the injury forced him out of action with 55 rushing yards on 14 carries. The Packers have a Week 4 bye and it couldn't come at a better time as his replacement Johnathan Franklin went down late in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury. Starter Eddie Lacy was already sidelined with a concussion.
James Starks leaves fantasy owners concerned with knee injury in Packers loss
Green Bay Packers running back James Starks left the Week 3 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals with a knee injury after rushing for 55 yards. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Fantasy impact: The extent of the injury is unknown, but Starks has played well in six quarters of football. Lacy should be recovered from his concussion and return in Week 5 but the seriousness of Franklin’s injury is likewise unknown. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on the situation when the Packers return to practice in Week 5. Even if Starks is healthy, rookie running Johnathan Franklin looked good before he went down with his ankle injury with 13 carries for 103 yards. The second running back position could be open to competition if both are healthy.
