Green Bay Packers running back Johnathan Franklin rushed for 103 yards on 13 carries and one touchdown in the Week 3 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals before leaving with an ankle injury in the fourth quarter. Franklin was called into action following a knee injury to James Starks and looked good before suffering his own injury. He did have a bad fumble just before leaving with his injury. With Eddie Lacy already sidelined with a concussion, the Packers are hurting at the running back position. They have a much needed bye in Week 4.
Johnathan Franklin shows up before going down in Week 3
Green Bay Packers running back Johnathan Franklin went off for 103 rushing yards on 13 carries and one touchdown before leaving with an ankle injury in the Packers’ Week 3 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Fantasy impact: The Packers were forced to use wide receiver Jeremy Ross in the backfield after losing both Starks and Franklin to injuries. The extent of both injuries is unknown and fantasy owners of both must keep an eye on the injury situation. If both are healthy, there could be a competition at the second running back position, which would impact their carries. Eddie Lacy is almost certain to be healthy when the Packers return in Week 5. They will face the Detroit Lions.
