San Diego Chargers running back Ryan Mathews rushed for 58 yards on 16 carries and did not find the end zone in the Week 3 loss to the Tennessee Titans. Mathews led all Chargers running backs in yards, but Ronnie Brown had the only rushing score on a 1-yard touchdown run in third quarter. The Chargers had 102 rushing yards against a Titans defense that is much improved from 2012. Mathews doesn't have a rushing touchdown, but did have a receiving score in Week 1.

Fantasy impact: Mathews is getting the bulk of the carries and has managed to stay healthy thus far, but the Chargers are using a platoon at the running back position. Mathews doesn't get many looks in the passing game where the Chargers turn to Danny Woodhead, though he did have a receiving score in Week 1. Mathews doesn't have a rushing touchdown on the year. He isn't a viable fantasy option unless you play in a very deep league. The Chargers face the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4.
