Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno rushed for 39 yards on 12 carries on Monday Night Football against the Oakland Raiders. Moreno finished with a puny 3.3 yards per carry and didn't even get a goal line carry after Ronnie Hillman got them to the one-yard line. At this point, Moreno's real value is in pass protection, but that means he will see the field over Hillman and rookie Montee Ball for the time being.
Knowshon Moreno starts slow, ends slow for fantasy owners on MNF
Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno rushed for 39 yards on 12 carries on Monday Night Football against the Oakland Raiders. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Fantasy impact: Moreno is on the field at this point because he is the best running back in pass protection. The impact here is that arguably more talented backs in Ronnie Hillman and Montee Ball will continue to see reduced playing time as a result. Ball also can’t hang onto the ball which will further reduce his carries. It’s hard to trust any Broncos running back with anything more than a bye week fill-in or desperation start. The Broncos face the Philadelphia Eagles and their terrible defense in Week 4.
