Welker proved to be a matchup nightmare in the slot against a Raiders defense that did not have proper personnel to shadow the shifty receiver. His one score came from 12 yards deep, and his day could have been even bigger if he had not been brought down at the 2-yard-line on the team’s opening drive.
Fantasy Spin: The Broncos offense is clicking on all cylinders and there is a wealth of fantasy points to share. Whether the leading receiver each week is Welker, Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker or Julius Thomas, there will be enough targets available in a pass-first offense to capitalize. Welker is more than capable of doing so, and the case in point lies within his third straight double-digit game.
