Colin Kaepernick was all the rage after Week 1, beating Aaron Rodgers at his own game in a win with his 412-yard explosion and three TDs. In the past two weeks, it's been a horse of a different color. He didn't throw for more than 150 yards in each of the last two games and failed to complete 50 percent of his attempts, too.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, TNF: Colin Kaepernick
Colin Kaepernick will look to get back in the good graces of fantasy owners in Week 4 against the Rams.

The last two games has caused some fantasy owners to be discouraged. Frankly, it's not justified. He went up against the Seahawks and their tremendous defense in Week 2, then he had to play in Week 3 without his security blanket and downfield-threat, Vernon Davis.
This week he gets a much better matchup against the Rams. Last year, he wasn't too stellar against the Rams, but completed 65 percent of his passes in each of the two contests. The Rams have a solid tandem of corners, but as long as Vernon Davis is back, Kap should have some success in moving the ball through the air.
Teams have been rolling their coverage to Anquan Boldin, so Kaepernick is going to have to get on the same page with his other receivers. The problem is that Kyle Williams, Quinton Patton and Marlon Moore have done nothing to suggest they're capable flankers in the offense.
It's not just about the passing with Kap, though. He should be able to get the read-option going again and with the way the Rams like to rush the passer with Chris Long and Robert Quinn, running lanes could be there for him.
Fantasy impact: The bottom line is that fantasy owners are going to have a tough time benching one of the best young QBs in the game. The Rams have given up 31 points in back-to-back weeks, and in Week 1 they gave up 24 to the Cardinals -- a team that hasn't moved the ball well in the past two weeks. He should be started with confidence.
