Ravens running back Ray Rice practiced for the second time this week on Thursday, according to NFL Network's Albert Breer.
Ray Rice practices for second straight day, fantasy owners can get ready to place him back into the lineup
The Ravens’ feature back returned to practice on Wednesday after sitting out his team’s 30-9 victory over the Texans in Week 3. We break down the fantasy implications.

Rice is coming off of a hip flexor injury that sidelined him during the Ravens' 30-9 victory over the Texans on Sunday, and the running game visibly struggled with Bernard Pierce averaging just 2.7 yards per carry. But according to Breer, the Ravens are likely to get a boost in the backfield this week, since the biggest factor in Rice's availability for Week 4 is his capability of being able to play through pain. There is no concern among the Ravens brass that Rice's injury is serious.
Fantasy Spin: Getting even a limited practice in twice a week usually bodes well for a player's availability the ensuing Sunday, and Rice appears on track to make his return. That should be music to his fantasy owners' ears, since he will face a Bills defense that got gashed by Jets running back Bilal Powell, who carried the ball 27 times for 149 yards last week. Even if Rice were to be eased into action in a 60-40 split with Pierce, he is still worthy of his RB1 designation on Sunday.
