San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis looks like he's going to play in Thursday night's game against the St. Louis Rams. Davis answered with a simple "oh yeah" when asked by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport if he will be active.
Vernon Davis ready to play, could have good fantasy value this week
Vernon Davis will be active and ready to play on Thursday Night Football.

Davis suffered a hamstring injury in the Week 2 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. He was held out on Sunday and got in a week of limited practices. The 49ers offense struggled without Davis, losing to the Indianapolis Colts, 27-7, and falling to 1-2 on the year. Davis has nine catches for 118 yards and two touchdowns this season.
Fantasy impact: Davis will be less than 100 percent and might be on a snap count, but Colin Kaepernick will be happy to have his top pass-catching target back. Davis is back on the fantasy radar and will be a solid TE1 play against a Rams defense that was carved up by the Dallas Cowboys. The 49ers offense has failed to get any production out of its wide receivers, making Davis a heavy favorite to lead the team in targets.
