St. Louis Rams wide receiver Chris Givens is officially active for Thursday night's game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Chris Givens active, will play for fantasy owners on Thursday
Chris Givens’ knee injury was never considered serious. He’s active for Thursday’s game.

Givens was listed on the injury report with a knee issue and didn't practice on Monday, but he got a full practice on Tuesday and there was no real danger of him missing the game. He has nine catches for 186 yards on the season. Givens failed to make an impact so far, getting just two catches for 54 yards in Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
Fantasy impact: Givens' injury isn't a concern to fantasy owners, but his offense is. The Rams have failed to move the ball effectively this year. Talents like Tavon Austin and Jared Cook are being grossly misused in Brian Schottenheimer's overly conservative offense. Givens won't be much more than bye-week filler for the foreseeable future. He's only worth starting if you have Packers receivers this week and are already desperate.
