Anquan Boldin exploded out of the gates in 2013, catching 13 passes for 208 yards in Week 1. After he took a major step back from those stats over the past two weeks, Boldin bounced back nicely with five receptions for 90 yards and a score in Week 4.
Anquan Boldin scores big in fantasy for second time this season
A regrettable Week 2 and a mediocre Week 3 were quickly forgotten as Anquan Boldin found the end zone again. We break down the fantasy implications.

Boldin was targeted a team-high seven times by Colin Kaepernick on Thursday night against the Rams. He dominated in the first half and his numbers would have been even more impressive if the game had been close and if the 49ers felt a need to keep attacking the Rams’ secondary through the air.
Fantasy impact: With the Rams offensively confused, the 49ers eased up on aggressive shots in the passing game. Boldin looked solid again, and owners shouldn’t have worried too much after a one-catch outing against Richard Sherman in Seattle.
Vernon Davis was playing less than 100 percent, leaving Boldin to shoulder most of the load in the passing game. When Davis returns to full strength, he’ll be able to take some of the added pressure off Boldin.
