Daryl Richardson only played two snaps in Week 3 as a nagging foot injury limited his availability against the Cowboys. He returned to the starting lineup in Week 4, rushing for 16 yards on 12 carries against the 49ers on Thursday night.
Daryl Richardson shows little fantasy value with Isaiah Pead out
Daryl Richardson returned to the starting role for the Rams in Week 4. There wasn’t much to be excited about, though. We break down the fantasy implications.

Isaiah Pead was a healthy scratch, leaving some question to the state of the Rams backfield. Richardson did little to impress after reclaiming the starting role, though.
Fantasy impact: Unless there was some unforeseen injury Pead suffered in pregame warmups, the Rams decided they could do without his talents facing the 49ers. That didn’t quite pan out like they expected. Richardson barely found any room to run.
While San Francisco stayed active around the line of scrimmage and in the backfield, Richardson didn’t make many defenders miss and he stalled several times attempting to decide on which gap to run towards. He continues to be a disappointment to owners. Richardson is now averaging a mere 3.3 yards per carry in St. Louis’ nonexistent run game.
