Andre Johnson is officially active for the Texans’ Week 4 game against the Seahawks. Johnson left last Sunday’s game in Baltimore after suffering a shin injury. He was limited in practice this week, but Johnson has expected to play all along.
Andre Johnson active in tough fantasy matchup
While injuries continue to plague Andre Johnson’s season, he’s ready to go for Week 4. We break down the fantasy implications.

Through three games this season, Johnson has only finished all four quarters once. He left two weeks ago with a concussion. The Texans No. 1 wideout keeps finding new ways to get injured, but he isn’t being kept out of the starting lineup.
Fantasy impact: Johnson said earlier this week that he was “about 80 percent.“ He’s banged up and facing a tough Seattle defense. Johnson sees a lot of action against right cornerbacks, so he might be able to escape coverage from Richard Sherman.
While Sherman playing on the left side helps Johnson’s cause, he’ll still face a tough matchup with Brandon Browner. The Seahawks are extremely tough against the pass. They’ve given up just one touchdown and 440 yards passing through three games in 2013. Johnson isn’t shaping up to be a great option for owners.
