Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe salvaged a decent fantasy football performance in Week 4 as he hauled in a 34-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Bowe finished the day with 58 yards and the touchdown, catching four passes on seven targets. This performance came a week after he had one catch for four yards. For the season, Bowe has 13 receptions for 148 yards and two touchdowns.
Dwayne Bowe fantasy performance benefits from late touchdown
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe finished with a solid 58 receiving yards and one touchdown. He benefited from a garbage time touchdown. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: All fantasy points count the same, but Bowe's performances to date have been a bit worrisome. His Week 4 performance was his best of the season. While the Chiefs are finding success, the short passing game benefits running back Jamaal Charles more than any of the receivers. Furthermore, Smith targeted Donnie Avery ten times to Bowe's seven. Avery struggled to do much of anything with his opportunities, and Bowe is likely to remain the primary targeted receiver.
The Chiefs head to Nashville to face the Tennessee Titans in Week 5. The Titans have been solid but not great against the pass. Alex Smith has steadily improved this season, and one has to imagine Dwayne Bowe is due for a big game. He is a low end WR2 in Week 5, but there is some upside.
