Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler threw three interceptions trying to come from behind against the Detroit Lions in a 40-32 loss in week four. Although the final score looked close, the Bears were out of the game by halftime.
Jay Cutler shaky for fantasy owners in loss to Lions
The Bears quarterback cost his team the game in Week 4 against the Lions. We discuss the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: If there is one saving grace for Cutler owners, it’s that he was able to rack up passing yards late in the game trying to bring his team back into contention. It’s a good thing fantasy points don’t know the difference between a good game and reality and the bad one.
Since the Bears had to play from behind for most of the contest, receivers Alshon Jeffrey and Brandon Marshall as well as tight end Martellus Bennett all managed double digit targets.
Media and fans have really been given a lot of praise to head coach Marc Trestman, crediting his ability to develop a positive relationship with his quarterback. It will be interesting to see if that narrative holds true now that the Bears offense has played a bad game. Overall though, Cutler this probably playing a little bit above expectations considering where most fantasy owners probably drafted the veteran pivot. Keep him in your lineup going forward, as he’s still a good quarterback on a good team.
